The More that I know Him

By Rev. Lonnie C. Crowe

The more that I know Him

The greater my faith

The greater my faith

The lesser my fear

The more that I trust Him

And rest in His light,

More  bright is my path

And cloudless my night.

The more that I know Him

The greater my faith

The greater my faith

The lesser my fear

You, Lord, rest on Your gold throne on high

The earth is Your footstool

Your canopy the sky.

All heaven worships

Your power and Your might

I cannot do less

In this world’s darkest night

But attest to Your majesty,

Power and light.

The more that I know You

The greater my faith

The greater my faith

The lesser my fear.

Thank you, dear Jesus,

For being so near.

God's Garden

God's Garden
By Rev. Lonnie C. Crowe

Mary, Mary, don’t be so contrary.
Stop and consider how God’s garden grows.
Some in the cold.
Some in the warm.
Some in the city.
Some on the farm.
No matter the situation or the place.

Not one is hidden from the Maker’s grace.

Who You Are, Jesus

Who You Are, Jesus
by Rev. Lonnie C. Crowe

Jesus, beautiful Redeemer,
You who bore the agony of Calvary,
Pierced by the thorns,
Scourged,
Wounded,
Forsaken,
Reviled.

Your passion paid sin's price.
Your death opened the veil.
Your tomb is the gateway to freedom
From death and the grave.
Your resurrection sealed our covenant
with the Father.

Your return is the culmination of creation,
The restoration of Eden,
The doorway to eternity.
You are the way, the truth and the life.
You are the Lamb of God
Who takes away the sin of the world.

Dance with Me

Dance with Me
By Rev. Lonnie C. Crowe

And Jesus said to me,
"I want to dance with you
To the music of heaven
Voiced by the angels
When I sang creation into being.
Dance to the rhythm of the galaxies..
Dance to the sounds that reverberate
Even into the "black holes" of life.
Waltz to the melodies of star systems,
Comets, quarks and quasars."

And I answer,
"Lord, I'll dance.
If You are the sun,
I am Your earth.
If You are the earth,
I am Your moon.
I'll pirouette in Your orbit.
I'll move as You move.
In step with all of creation,
We'll dance together
Through the melodic cosmos
And into eternity.

It's So New

It's So New
By Rev. Lonnie C. Crowe

It's so new
This season.
It isn't just that it's different.
It's like nothing in our history.
It's new.
We haven't been this way before

No GPS
To guide this journey.
No Almanac
To forecast this season.
Like Joshua,
We must keep our eyes on the Ark.
We must stay a few steps back
And follow Your lead.

Oh, Lord, it's so new.
Holy Spirit,
You, alone, are our Pillar of Fire
In this darkness.
You, alone, are all we need.

Song of Invitation

From Dancing in the Cosmos
by Rev. Lonnie C. Crowe

Song of Invitation by Eternal Hope:

Arise, My child.
Spring to the heights with Me.
Soar in My liberty.
Ascend to My dreams.
Come out of your valleys,
Beyond the mountain tops.
Seek for the stars.
Reach for the cosmos.
Dance in the glory of now.
Dance in the promise of tomorrow.
Though ravaged by time
And the machinations of man,
The foundations born of fire
Still stand.
Build on the past.
Walk in the present
And aspire the eternal.
Come, My child,
Come, dance in the stars with Me;
Then even those who refuse to dance will be blessed.
Even those who are afraid to reach, those who do not respond
And those who slumber will be blessed.
           Deny the call,
And none will be touched with this truth.
